hi all, just coming to present you my next projects for WIKO RAINBOW KITKAT FIRMWARE..

still in tests but booting already and working..it will take a bit time yet cause its a port from MTK6592 so some features need more work..so a small presentation.

GPS FIX for KITKAT ROMS WIKO RAINBOW FIRMWARE

Hi all, finally i found a solution to fix GPS on all my custom kitkat roms..less than 5 minutes and you are ready to go..i ve tested in COLOR OS , MIUI 6 and SLIMPOP v2..working 100%. So lets begin the tutorial:

1-COPY GPS to data\nvram\APCFG\APRDEB and paste here. give permissions like in the image

2-COPY GPS_CHIP.cfg and mtkgps.dat to

data\misc and give permissions like in the pictures

3-download MTK EPO GPS FIXER from playstore:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mtrakal.mtkepogpsfixer&hl=en

give root permissions and click on link to download BUSYBOX from google store:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox&hl=en install it and return to MTK EPO GPS FIXER and click on UPDATE EPO

4-reboot. you now have GPS working.

Hi all , this is a different method to fix your IMEI ..many users that flash roms have the annoying WiFi NVRAM WARNING err 0x10 and they lost they IMEI..and each time they flash a rom the error comes back..so how to fix it?

EXTRACT THE RAR

1. SP FLASHTOOLS:
2. download scatter.txt
3. use your nvram.emmc.bin.(that file inside the rom is a example file.if you dont have any try)

 INSTALLATION WIKO FIRMWARE KITKAT V10/V13:
:Philz recovery WIKOKK

1. clean to install a new rom
2. wipe cache
3. wipe dalvik cache
4. format system
5. install rom from SD CARD
6. reboot.
7. go to recovery and apply ROOTFIX
8. reboot.
9. go to recovery and flash COLOROS PATCH
10. reboot and enjoy the rom.
11. go to recovery and flash PATCH ALARM.

NOTE:follow exactly my instructions and you will be fine.

IMPORTANT: first time you connect to computer it asks to format to use..DONT DO IT..it will mount 100%. proximity BUG is a little buggy..see the video how to fix it.

first boot take a bit long, so wait.

bugs:values of internal and external storage doesnt appear right in settings but when mounting or using a root explorer it will be right. it DOESNT affect the rom.

some characters are in turkish but its little things on launcher,doesnt affect the rom also.

As you all know, we developers are trying to do our best to bring you the best custom roms KITKAT for all this phones..Last days i ve been porting COLOROS OS KITKAT and rebase MIUI 6 to v13..well i just found that for a strange reason WIKO BASE V13 KITKAT works very good on stock..but when using a custom rom on top of that, it gives problems. A LOT. for me camera problems, network problems and some FC with some TV apps that i use to see football and programs with my VODAFONE TV NET VOZ app from my internet provider..so after that, i did like you see in the picture above.

i did all this to rebase MIUI 6 5.5.1 to see if the problems are gone for all users with CLONES.

Why? because v13 as little changes in camera libs, kernel and graphics..and that will affect all clones and all of our custom roms. 


THIS IS NOT MANDATORY..ITS JUST MY ADVICE FOR YOU ALL,AS A USER WHO CARES AND WANT TO BE EASY FOR ALL OF US.
